Gaurav Matta is Co-Founder of NRiSimplify, a platform focused on bringing structure and coordinated execution to Indian real estate transactions for Non-Resident Indians.
His work sits at the intersection of property transactions, taxation, NRI banking, FEMA regulations, documentation, and cross-border repatriation, areas that often operate in silos but together determine whether an NRI transaction concludes smoothly.
The foundation of this work was built through his association with Brivan Consultants, where the team has been assisting NRI clients since 2012 on chartered accountancy, taxation, and financial structuring. Over time, real estate transactions emerged as a recurring and complex area within NRI advisory, leading to the development of a structured framework integrating tax, legal, banking, and regulatory processes.
As this practice expanded, supporting clients across 20+ countries and transactions across 50+ cities in India, the need for a specialised platform became clear. This led to the creation of NRiSimplify in 2025, focused on modernising how NRIs engage with Indian real estate.
Earlier in his career, Gaurav worked with Evalueserve supporting global consulting engagements and later led brand and marketing initiatives for Hero Cycles, one of India's most recognised brands.
His focus today remains making Indian real estate predictable and transparent for global Indians.
